Call Box Helper automatically answers your call box, sends the unlock code, and hangs up — so your gate opens without you ever touching your phone.
🤖 Free during beta · Android only
Set it up once. After that, your gate opens automatically every time.
Save the phone number your call box uses to dial you. Give it a label like "Front Gate" so you know what it is.
When a delivery arrives or you drive up, the call box calls your number. Call Box Helper recognizes it instantly.
The app answers, sends your unlock code, and hangs up. Gate opens. You don't touch a thing.
Stop fumbling for your phone every time you pull up to your gate or buzz in a visitor.
Never miss a delivery because you couldn't answer the call box in time. It answers before you even hear it ring.
A call box is the intercom system at the entrance of a gated community, apartment building, or parking garage. When a visitor or delivery driver arrives, they use the call box to request entry. You, the resident, answer the call and press a number (usually 9) to open the gate.
If your call box dials a phone number and accepts a keypad press to open the gate, Call Box Helper will work with it. This covers the vast majority of residential and commercial call box systems.
Android 7.0 (Nougat) or higher. The app works best on Android 10 and above.
Yes. To automatically answer your call box calls, Call Box Helper needs to be set as your default phone app. This gives it the ability to detect and answer incoming calls before you have to. Your contacts, call history, and all normal calling features work exactly as before — Call Box Helper is a full dialer replacement.
No. The app only auto-answers calls from numbers you specifically save as call box numbers. All other calls ring normally and you answer them yourself.
The Call Box Helper dialer covers all the essentials and then some — calling, contacts, call history, mute, speaker, hold, call waiting, call transfer, and 3-way call. The one thing to know is that some carrier-specific features built into your manufacturer's dialer, like visual voicemail will not carry over. For most users the transition is completely seamless.
Yes. Because Call Box Helper is set as your default phone app, it receives calls at the system level — DnD mode does not prevent it from auto-answering your call box.
Free during the beta period. We'll announce pricing before the public launch, and beta testers will get advance notice.
Beta testers get Call Box Helper free for life. If you join the beta, test the app, and send us feedback, you'll never pay — even after we launch publicly and introduce paid plans. Your help building this is worth it.
